Pro Šešėlius is an art education and residency project about the shadows cast by the contemporary world. It was organised on the occasion of the Season of Lithuania in France.
Pro Šešėlius works as an informal exchange of knowledge, away from traditional hierarchical educational structures. The residency took place in Villeneuve-de-Mézin.
This education and residency project was organized by Non-étoile and Inthecloset, curated by Daura Polonskytė and Yves Bartlett. The results will be shown at Espace Nonono in September, at ArtVilnius in October, and in a book published by Distance Press.
The project is part of the Season of Lithuania in France 2024. The Season is organised by the Lithuanian Culture Institute and the French Institute in Paris.
